Direxions and its analytics brand Cartesian Consulting have extended support to the International Conference on Statistics (ICS-2007). Hosted by the Department of Statistics, Mumbai University, the conference theme this year is “Recent Developments in new emerging areas in Statistical inference, Design of Experiments, Stochastic processes and Data analysis”.

In a well attended inauguration ceremony this morning, Cartesian MD Leena Basrur was felicitated as a distinguished alumnus and sponsor of the conference.

The conference will see participants from across the globe present over 50 papers on emerging statistical techniques. Cartesian head Sandeep Mittal will present his thoughts on “The Business of Marketing Analytics” on Saturday 2nd June 2007.
